Room had mold on the ceiling.

The room featured a mini fridge and microwave, which really came in handy for snacking. Location-wise, it’s just a couple blocks from several bars and nightclubs, making it easy to explore the nightlife.

Upon entering, I noticed the floors were a bit dirty, so I stuck to my socks. The bathroom drain didn’t function well, resulting in standing water after showers, and the elevator felt a bit shaky, but it got the job done. Another downside was the small bed size, which seemed more like a full than a queen, leading to a not-so-comfortable night’s sleep. Additionally, the TV could definitely use an upgrade to a flatscreen. it felt dated. The bathroom door was hard to close, and the doorknob was oddly positioned, making it awkward to maneuver.

My stay was very comfortable and convenient, with easy access to the downtown area and local attractions. The room was clean and well-equipped, featuring a mini fridge and microwave which were helpful during my business trip. The staff were efficient and accommodating, assisting me promptly with any requests I had, including printing documents in the business center. Parking options were also an added benefit.

Breakfast options were somewhat limited.

The hotel's warm Victorian charm was delightful, with inviting common areas enhancing the atmosphere. Accessibility was excellent, featuring well-maintained pathways and ramps, making it easy for seniors to navigate the property comfortably.

Additional comfortable seating in public areas would help.

Checking in felt like a scene out of chaos. A 45-minute wait due to room cleaning left me baffled, especially while witnessing unusual activities in the parking lot. The staff struggled amidst confusion, and the building’s condition raised alarm bells—unpleasant odors and cleanliness issues abounded. Let’s just say, my expectations were not met.

The location is great and very convenient for exploring local attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful at check-in. The room was comfortable with good amenities like a fridge and microwave. I appreciated the affordable parking options. Would stay again! 😊

We really loved the downtown area! It's beautiful, and we had a great time exploring the local sights with my three kids. The location allowed easy access to fun activities which kept everyone entertained.

In my kids’ opinion, the pool area could use more seating and fun options for families.

Not suitable for families

The bed was clean and comfortable, and the AC actually worked well, which is more than I can say for the rest of the place. The walk to shops and pubs was nice but didn’t make up for how gross everything else was.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but I guess acceptable for a night, if you like that sort of experience.

OMG, I couldn't believe how delightful my stay was! The room was spacious, perfect for lounging after exploring the area. Plus, the breakfast spread was fabulous—hot waffles made my morning!

Budget Family Friendly Stay

The hotel is close to the convention center, which was perfect for us since we were attending dance competitions. The staff worked their best to accommodate us and were genuinely kind.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but it's acceptable.

the carpet had stains. not what I expected. but the location was super convenient for events and downtown! the staff were all really friendly. and I loved the complimentary breakfast with fresh options.
